My background as a native of Wisconsin explains my affection for beer, bowling, and cheese. I now call the contemplative mountain surroundings of Waynesville home. Home truly is where the heart is, and my favorite place is anywhere with my amazing wife, Rachel.

I consider myself a geek, jack-of-many-trades, amateur chef, and avid outdoorsman who loves biking, hiking, and fishing. If only bowling were an outdoor sport! I enjoy the peace and reflective elements nature inspires, especially with a freshly brewed craft beer, sitting by the edge of a creek.

I was Charter President of a Toastmasters Club and became an accomplished public speaker. I have also held leadership roles in my church and our local Knights of Columbus Council.
